GDC TECHNICS AND PCI AVIATION ANNOUNCE JOINT VENTURE AGREEMENT, ‘CREEK TECHNICS’
GDC Technics, an industry leader in engineering & technical services, modifications, electronic systems, R&D, government services, and MRO services, announced it has signed an SBA 8(a) Joint Venture Agreement with PCI Aviation (PCIA) – an SBA 8(a) certified, Small Disadvantage Business, owned and operated by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians (PBCI), a federally recognized tribe – to pursue upcoming 8(a) set-aside and 8(a) competitive programs.
The Joint Venture Agreement – named “Creek Technics” – was set up to support critical requirements of the US Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLMC) located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. As part of the agreement, PCIA was named the Managing Venturer of Creek Technics with Mal McGhee, President and employee of PCIA, selected as the Project Manager responsible for performance of the contract. With Creek Technics, GDC and PCIA will utilize equipment and facilities owned by each company such as the GDC facility located in San Antonio, Texas, as well as PCIA facilities in Huntsville and Atmore, Alabama.
