GDC Technics, an industry leader in engineering & technical services, modifications, electronic systems, R&D, government services, and MRO services, announced it has signed an SBA 8(a) Joint Venture Agreement with PCI Aviation (PCIA) – an SBA 8(a) certified, Small Disadvantage Business, owned and operated by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians (PBCI), a federally recognized tribe – to pursue upcoming 8(a) set-aside and 8(a) competitive programs.

The Joint Venture Agreement – named “Creek Technics” – was set up to support critical requirements of the US Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLMC) located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. As part of the agreement, PCIA was named the Managing Venturer of Creek Technics with Mal McGhee, President and employee of PCIA, selected as the Project Manager responsible for performance of the contract. With Creek Technics, GDC and PCIA will utilize equipment and facilities owned by each company such as the GDC facility located in San Antonio, Texas, as well as PCIA facilities in Huntsville and Atmore, Alabama.

“Creek Technics is a great opportunity for GDC to access federal contracts and competitive programs,” said Brad Foreman, GDC Technics CEO. “Together with PCIA, we look forward to pursuing, winning, and performing federal contracts that will further expand GDC’s government services and consequently demonstrate the high-level of business GDC Technics is capable of.”
