GDC Technics, an industry leader in aircraft engineering & technical services, modifications, electronic systems, R&D, government services, and MRO services, announced the installation of Aviation Clean Air’s (ACA) Cabin Ionization Component onto a BBJ.
The ACA Component is the only proactive air and surface purification system for VVIP, business, and commercial aviation. The ACA Component was installed into the aircraft’s cabin Environmental Control System air ducting structure and will provide immediate, clean, safe, and healthy cabin environment by neutralizing viruses, allergens, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) and odors both in the air and on surface throughout the aircraft cabin.
“The installation of this system will neutralize harmful pathogens that just sneezing, coughing, or breathing can spread within an aircraft,” said Brad Foreman, GDC Technics CEO. “The system increased the aircraft from a baseline of 660 ions/cm3 to an aircraft average of 8,466 ions/cm3.” Foreman added, “We are incredibly pleased to begin offering this solution to our customers as a way to ensure the safe and effective purification of their aircraft cabins on a continuous basis.”
The ACA Component continuously eliminates any contaminates throughout the aircraft whenever the climate control system is operating – making it the only purification solution to clean an aircraft through all phases of flight.
GDC Technics recently announced the delivery of a completed B777 to a confidential head of state customer. The aircraft was completed with exterior modifications and a fully customized interior cabin. GDC Technics has also recently begun offering installations of its Falcon 300 connectivity system to Airbus and Boeing aircraft operators.
