GDC TECHNICS WELCOMES CRISTO REY STUDENTS AS PART OF CORPORATE WORK STUDY PROGRAM

GDC Technics, an industry leader in aircraft modifications, MRO services, technical services, and electronic systems, partners with Cristo Rey Fort Worth High School and welcomes four students to the GDC Technics team as part of school’s work/study program.

GDC Technics is one of 40 corporate partners to join Cristo Rey Fort Worth and offer its students work experience in a corporate setting. Throughout the 2019-2020 school year, GDC Technics will mentor and supervise the students as they carry out real-life work positions one day a week at the company. The program helps prepare students to join the workforce and gives them an opportunity to earn a portion of their high school tuition.

“Partnering with Cristo Rey Fort Worth to offer these students a chance to experience the corporate world is a great honor for GDC Technics and we couldn’t be more excited,” said Brad Foreman, GDC Technics CEO. “The work/study program is such a great way to introduce these students to a professional environment. We are more than proud to be a part of this incredible program that works so hard to build up our future generation of leaders.”

The students participating in the work/study program attend classes and share a full-time position by working one day a week at GDC Technics. The program began the week following Draft Day – the day students discovered where their corporate education would take place – and will continue through July 2020.
